Geoffrey then held several Senior Director positions at Hyperion, reporting directly to the CTO. During his nine years at Hyperion, Geoffrey also oversaw the development of Multidimensional Databases, Analytical Data-Marts, and Hyperion Financial Management software. He managed Product Development teams ranging in sizes of up to sixty Software Engineers, Software Managers, Quality Engineers, and Performance Engineers; he performed due diligence for acquisitions and strategic partnerships (managing and negotiating with SAP, a German company, about their partnership with Hyperion); and he investigated new and emerging technologies as possible strategic use in the Hyperion Platform. As the Subject Matter Expert for SAP, Brio, and Higher Education, he developed training material and taught classes in these domains for Sales and Marketing. Before Oracle purchased Hyperion, Geoffrey served on the Executive Steering Strategy Committee, helping build and deliver upon Hyperion’s future direction. After continuing to manage the Higher Education vertical for Oracle, he served at Dell both as a Senior Director of Development and Senior Director of Product Management for SaaS products. Geoffrey has a Masters in Digital Media, and he is currently finishing his Masters in Cyber Security. He also consults as a Cyber Security consultant.
