Albert Frantz Vice President Motivational Speaker Performance Coach
Albert is an entrepreneur, concert pianist, and performance coach with extensive experience in teaching, artistic, and public speaking. Albert started college as an electrical engineering major, and he is the founder and president of a technologically innovative education software firm which has recorded more than two hundred fine educational videos. He has keen interests in mastery, technology, the mistakes that people make with technology, and the incorrect shortcuts to what they think is mastery.
Meanwhile, despite his unusually late start in piano at the age of seventeen, he won many piano competitions in the United States, received a Fulbright Fellowship to study piano in Vienna, and has remained in Austria ever since. Albert has been a Bösendorfer Artist for a dozen years, and he has been sharing his artistic knowledge and skillful mastery both in Europe and the United States. Albert is also a popular inspirational speaker. Albert was the president of Toastmasters in Vienna for several years, and he is among the most frequent contributors to the TEDx platform as a speaker, host, and performer in Europe and the United States. In October 2015, he addressed an audience of nearly two thousand attendees at TEDxSanFrancisco. At a ceremony at Vienna’s city hall in October 2016, Albert performed on the piano and became the Head of Mission in Vienna for the Diplomatic Council, a United Nations-accredited non-government organization with concerns for peace through economic development.
Albert has found both athletic coaching and life coaching important for his own personal success. For those reasons, he enjoys tackling significant challenges. Athletic coaching has helped him to complete multiple marathons and two Ironman triathlons in the Carinthian Alps. Artistically, Albert has mastered and recorded some of the most difficult pieces in the piano repertoire. On that basis, the German company DreamaTV contacted Albert and made an inspiring and motivational documentary in 2015 about Albert’s perspectives and dedication to achieve goals that were often considered “impossible.”
Albert has been seriously involved with different aspects of coaching for many years because of its help with success. His first personal life coach, Dr. James Pawelski, is the Executive Director of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA). Albert then completed his own coaching training with Dr. Roman Braun, the very first master coach of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Albert not only applies coaching to his own life, but he also helps prepare luminaries such as TEDx speakers and sopranos of the Vienna Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera) as a performance coach.
